What You See is What You Get

A Blog about Food, Travel and Plain Ol' Life

Here is what we had for dinner

Saturday, August 30, 2008

This received high ratings from the hubby.

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken

TERYAKI MARINADE

½ cup soy sauce
4 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tsp grated ginger
2 tsp lime juice
2 tsp honey
¼ tsp red pepper flakes

¼ tsp sesame oil

Mix ingredients.

ASIAN SLAW

6 Ounces Pkg. Shredded Cabbage
2 Packages Chicken Ramen Noodles
2 Tablespoons Vinegar
4 Tablespoons Sugar
1/2 Cup Sliced Or Slivered Almonds
1/2 Cup Oil

Combine cabbage, and crushed noodles and almonds. Mix together
vinegar, sugar, oil, and seasoning packets from ramen noodles. Pour
dressing over slaw and toss at serving.

LEFTOVERS

We had some leftovers. So, I cut up the chicken and mixed with the Asian slaw and plan to make a oriental wrap for lunch.
